"I'm going to die having sex," she told XFANZ.

The 19-year-old Orange County, Calif., native graduated a year early from high school, where she had a 3.0 GPA while participating on the cheerleading squad and dance team.

But none of those was exactly what she wanted to be doing.

"I've always wanted to be a porn star," she said.

James is doing just that, having recently signed deals with Vouyer Media, New Sensations and Wicked. She plans to launch her official website, PaulinaJamesXXX.com, in mid-November, and on Monday she'll be flying to Berlin, Germany, for the Venus show, where she'll work a booth with Vince Vouyer. She also recently flew to Miami to shoot a pair of scenes for the Bang Bros. websites, including BigMouthfuls.com and TheWheeler.com, their new public sex site.

"That one was fun," she said. "I had never gotten fucked in a gas station before."

On top of all that, she studied business for a year in college, and she wants to start her own clothing line that features lingerie and women's jeans. Speaking of jeans, James will grace the cover of Vince Vouyer's Teens in Tight Jeans. She's also set to appear in two other DVDs for Vouyer, including Frosty Finish and a third, as-yet-untitled, movie.

"I'm just so excited to be working," said James, who recently moved into her own place. "I like to be independent, and I like business."

James has also had her sights set on a career in sex ever since she saw her first adult movie.

"I'd always get turned on," she said. "I always wanted to be the woman onscreen getting fucked."

Since making the jump into the biz this year, she's expanded her sexual horizons and had a few thrills while traveling.

"The last time I flew to Vegas, there were these 75 mile-per-hour winds and the pilot, when he landed the plane, there was this gust of wind, and he hit the runway, and I screamed -- and then we took back off," she said. "I was like, 'Oh, my god, I'm going to die!' But what better way to die than as a porn star, right?"

She's apparently done some more pleasurable screaming on set, recently discovering that she could ejaculate with star Lee Stone.

"I don't know how he was fucking me," she said. "But all of a sudden, I squirted all over the place, and I jumped off and ran to the bathroom, like, 'Oh, my god, I'm broken!'"

Lela Star gets high marks from James, too.

"I was shooting a scene for New Sensations with her," James said. "She's the first girl to make me come. I just love her. She just signed with New Sensations. Me and her are going to have some fun together."

Until she crosses paths with Stone or Star again, though, Paulina James will be keeping busy and staying happy.

"I wake up every morning with a smile on my face, even if it's a 6 a.m. call."
