CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Adult star Alana Evans' directorial debut,
Pick 'Em Young, will hit stores just in time for Valentine's Day and stars brand-new male talent that Evans culled from the randy ranks of social networking goliath MySpace.com.
"I wanted to catch the true essence of that first time," Evans told XFANZ of her upcoming movie, which is also the debut release for her new production company, CreamWorks. "This isn't your normal porn. I really babied these guys to make sure there were no problems."
By "problems," Evans meant erectile problems, of course. During the auditions for Pick 'Em Young, Evans said she suspected one or two hopefuls of Viagra-sneaking, but for the most part, she helped her auditionees get hard the old-fashioned way.
"I've been in the business since before Viagra," she said. "I remember what it's like to get a guy up with nothing but chemistry."
Evans said MySpace attracted her as a recruiting tool not only because there are a lot of horny guys on it, but also because its openness as a forum helped her screen applicants for the best possible talent.
"We were looking for guys who fit my mold, which is happy and fun," she said. "After all, I do have to put in guys that people want to see having sex."
Among the ones who didn't make the cut, Evans said she rejected one guy who was planning to attend a religious college. After that, she met with them face-to-face. If they were too nervous while meeting her, they got the boot.
Evans said she enjoyed the process so much that she plans to go to MySpace again for Pick 'Em Young 2.
The first edition of CreamWorks' Pick 'Em Young will be released during the scond week of February. To keep track of the Pick 'Em Young movies, visit its official MySpace page.
Evans next release is the X-Play spoof, The Bradys.
