LONDON — Chalk one up for the little guys: British porn producer Michael Wightman of Newcastle, England, successfully sued the Disney company because they were using the same slogan as he was.
Disney was using the phrase -- "A Place Where Dreams Come True" -- for its theme parks until Wightman's lawyers pointed out that it was already in use for the entrepreneur's mobile phone adult company.
"It's a David versus Goliath victory," Wightman said.
Disney, however, may have gotten the last laugh. They were forced to change only one word in their slogan, which now reads "The Place Where Dreams Come True."
