Hey Ashlynn, it’s great to catch up with you! What have you been
up to lately?
I’ve been traveling a lot. I’ve been to Albequerque, El Paso, Denver,
Vegas, Ohio and Miami all in the past couple of months. I’ve shot for Club
three times, Cheri, High Society, Gallery, Fox…I’ve been very busy!
We’ll get to your contract girl status in just a second. Tell me a little
about yourself first. How old are you and where are you from?
I’m 22 and I’m from Choctaw, Oklahoma.
What were you like in high school?
I was a cheerleader for 12 years through grade school, junior high and high school.
There was three years where I was on three different squads at the same time.
I would leave one practice and go to another. I was cheering at games and always
busy. I wasn’t the rebellious type. I was just different. I didn’t
just hang out with one crowd. I tried to fit my time with a bunch of different
people. I was considered a bit of a black sheep. People weren’t really surprised
when they found out I was in adult. Prior to entering the business I had only
been with four other guys. That included my ex-husband. I’ve been married
and I’m already divorced. I was very sexually open and active, though.
When did you realize that you wanted to be open with your sexuality?
I was very, very young -- before I even started having sex. I couldn’t wait
to grow up so I could do things! I knew early on that I liked girls as well.
Everybody remembers the first time they watched porn. What do you remember
about the first time you saw it?
We had DirectTV growing up and we had one of those chips where you could watch
everything. After school one day I remember flipping through the channels and
it just came on. I knew they were there the whole time and I just never paid attention.
Something just caught my eye. I don’t remember the name of the movie but
it had a cute little Asian girl in it. They were having sex on the floor and I
just remember thinking, “Why don’t they do it like this?” I
kept flipping through and it did turn me on but I was thinking how I’d like
to be that girl. That was the defining moment.
How did you make the leap from watching porn to being in adult movies?
I started nude modeling. Some friends of mine in Oklahoma own all the tattoo shops
and the piercing shops. They wanted to start a nude magazine. This was almost
three years ago. They told me if I did some nude modeling for them that they would
put together a portfolio and send it out to some magazines. I’m comfortable
with my body and I don’t care to get naked. They sent my portfolio to Easy
Rider magazine and to Gallery and I got into both of those within the first six
months. I came out to LA and ended up shooting for both magazines at the same
time. The managing editor of Easy Rider told me that if I really wanted to go
far that the adult entertainment industry was the way to go. It had always been
in the back of my head to do that anyway. I was married at the time. When I got
divorced I found an agent and moved to Florida and started working. Originally
I was only supposed to stay in Florida for two weeks. I went back to Oklahoma
and decided to pack up and go for good. Now I’m contracted and here I am.
Were you nervous to go from nude modeling to doing hardcore on camera?
Yeah, I was nervous at first. I had anxieties about what people or society would
think. I talked to my friends and my mother about it. My mom told me that it doesn’t
matter what other people think. I thought of it that way. I got over my anxieties
and here I am.
