This reminds me of the night back in the early days when I stepped outside for a breath of fresh air and a steely-eyed twentysomething told the doorman, "I'll take his place." It is busy tonight ... At 11:30 I have to leave. After the eye surgery I still can't drive and The Lovely Mrs. Hunter is here to drive me home ... I see Gram Ponante in conversation with amiable boniface Seymour, and as I leave I see publicist Jeff Mullen and performer Mark Davis arriving. The party is far from over.
