To call this film "intense" would be like merely calling "Jaws" a "movie about a fish" — it doesn't quite adequately describe the intimacy and immediacy you'll feel while watching Visual Blurr's astounding "The Whore Within Me."

This movie isn't for everyone, but for those of you who enjoy particularly ferocious sexual encounters, you'll swear you've stumbled upon the Holy Grail.

From the moment you set eyes upon the opening frames of a redhead masturbating on an old, dirty mattress — shot appropriately enough in a grainy, 8mm style — you'll marvel at the depth and concentration that director Visual Blurr has put into this release.

You feel like you're in the room watching the events unfold, and the performers give it 110 percent of their vigor and energy, upping the ante even more. The urgency is palpable.

Visual Blurr treats us to a visually stunning assault on the eyes and ears; through sound loops, film grain, the usage of black and white and the fittingly dirty sets, he has captured the dark underbelly of sexual ferocity with a true eye for depravity … and sexual pleasure.

Who's the audience? Thrill-seekers and those who like to play as close to the edge as possible without falling over it.
