Dennis Hof, proprietor of the notorious BunnyRanch brothel near Carson City, Nev., is an old-school promoter.
When American Airlines started charging extra for baggage for airline passengers, Hof started giving credits to any customer who could show a receipt for a baggage charge.
"As long as the airlines keep sticking it to the consumer, we feel obligated to help," Hof said. "And we won't ask what's in your luggage, even though the girls may be curious. We're all about helping the little guy — so to speak."
Hof's latest promotion involves those stimulus checks that have been going out to taxpayers. The first 100 customers who bring their stimulus check to the Bunny Ranch will get a "matching" contribution, effectively doubling the amount of the check — as long as they spend it at the ranch.
"The Bunny Ranch encourages our clients to spend their check at the ranch, because we always give our customers the most bang for the buck," Hof said. "We are putting a big Thank You Card in the parlor for all our clients to sign that cash their federal stimulus check here."
More than 45 million stimulus checks have been issued, so if you want to take advantage of this offer you better get a move on.
