Looks like mainstream actress Angelina Jolie and adult performer Tera Patrick are discussing the role of Batman villain Catwoman with each other.
At least, that's what the New York Post is reporting.
"They are friends and keep in touch via email," the Post quoted a source as saying. "She and Angie have a girl-talk thing going. After seeing reports that she'll land the lead role, Jolie asked Patrick what she thought. Tera had such insights into the role that Jolie cracked, 'You should do it!' "
The most recent Batman movie, The Dark Knight, opened July 18 and already has grossed a reported $441 million in the 24 days it has been in release, so you can see why Warner Bros. is keen for a sequel.
Actress Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in the '60s Batman TV show, is supporting Jolie for the role.
"Angelina would own the part," Newmar told the New York Daily News. "I can understand how it would pique her interest. Catwoman is Batman's one true love, [and] she's tremendously popular with women."
We spoke to a representative for Patrick and she told us that Patrick is traveling and unavailable for comment.
