Review: Not Bewitched XXX

Will Ryder strikes comedy gold again in the sitcom lode that he mines so well.
This year's model is the classic Elizabeth Montgomery sitcom "Bewitched," and the clever script has dotty Aunt Clara turning toddler Tabitha into an 18-year-old who exuberantly declares that she can drive, go on dates "and have sex!"
Hi-jinks ensues as the family tries to keep Tabitha's sudden adolescence a secret from nosy neighbor Gladys Kravitz and horny boss Larry Tate. More trouble comes when Tabitha practices witchcraft on her dolls. G.I. Joe chases her around the neighborhood and Ken nails her.
Like all sitcoms, everything is righted by the end of the show.
Jenna Haze and Mike Horner are pitch-perfect as Samantha and Darren, and Teagan plays Tabitha with the right mix of naïveté and knowing, innocently exploring her new body — and not-so-innocently conjuring up a vibrator to explore it some more.
The supporting cast is excellent, with Nina Hartley transformed into mother-in-law Endora and Ron Jeremy appropriately hammy as Dr. Bombay. The grace notes include the laugh track guffawing at weak jokes and the candy-colored décor.
Stock deep to stay ahead of the demand – this comedy will fly off shelves, and that’s no joke.
Retail mix: Anybody looking for a laugh.
